This policy describes how the Blowcandles app handles user information.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect personal data. Blowcandles does not ask for your name, email, phone number or any identifying information. No sign-up is required and we do not use analytics or advertising services.

2. Data stored on your device

The special dates you add (occasion name, date and time), along with your chosen alarms and settings, are saved only on your own device using the app’s local storage. This data is never transmitted to external servers.

3. Android permissions

To work properly, the app requests only the strictly necessary permissions:

• Notifications / exact alarms: to trigger alarms at the scheduled times.
• Vibration: for the alarm’s tactile alert.
• Foreground media playback: to play the alarm sound reliably.
• Run after reboot: to keep scheduled alarms after the phone restarts.
• Keep screen on / full-screen intent: to show the alarm screen when it fires.
• Ignore battery optimization: optional, to prevent the system from delaying important alarms.

None of these permissions are used to track the user or collect data.

4. Internet access

The app declares internet permission due to technical requirements of the Capacitor library, but it does not send personal data over the network.

5. Third-party services

We do not use any third-party services that collect user data.

6. Security

App data stays restricted to the device’s internal storage and is not shared with other apps.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same link where this one is available.
